Data Deletion Request

How to Request Deletion

To request deletion of your account and associated data from the Pixel Theory Creative Ops platform, send an email from the email address associated with your account to:

baraka@thepixeltheory.com

Use the subject line "Data Deletion Request". In the body, confirm your account email and state that you are requesting deletion.

We verify the request is coming from the account holder before acting on it. If we cannot match the requesting email to an account, we will respond asking for additional verification.

What Gets Deleted

  • Your user record (name, email, role, authentication data)
  • Your connected Meta accounts — ad account links, Facebook Page links, Meta Pixel links, and Instagram account links
  • Briefs you authored
  • Asset uploads you made
  • Comments and approvals you left within the App

Campaigns, ad sets, and ads already pushed to Meta remain inside Meta's own systems and are governed by Meta's retention policies. We delete the linkage record from our database, which severs our ability to read or modify those campaigns.

What's Retained

Audit-log records describing actions you took inside the App are retained for up to 2 years after deletion for compliance purposes. These records contain no Meta-derived personal data and reference your account only by a hashed identifier.

Timeline

  • Within 3 business days: we acknowledge the request and confirm the account it maps to.
  • Within 30 calendar days: deletion is completed across our primary database and subprocessor storage, subject to each subprocessor's own deletion SLAs.

Alternative: Disconnect Without Full Deletion

If you want to revoke our access to a specific Meta Business Manager without deleting your entire account, a user with administrative access can disconnect individual Meta accounts from inside the App:

  1. Navigate to /admin/clients/[id]/settings
  2. Open the Connected Accounts tab
  3. Click Disconnect on the row for the Meta account you want to unlink

This removes only the Meta connection. Your user account, briefs, and history remain intact.

Note on Meta's Data Deletion Callback

For programmatic deletion requests initiated via Meta's data deletion callback protocol, the callback URL is not currently implemented; the manual request path via the email address above is the supported deletion path. Per Meta's platform policy, a Data Deletion Instructions URL is an acceptable alternative.
